Bala needed to win this game to stand any chance of avoiding the play off and this they did comfortably but it was against a weakened Pwllheli side. The first half was riddled with mistakes but Bala started well and went 3 0 ahead after 2 minutes when they were awarded a penalty in front of the posts which Elgan Jones duly kicked. Bala improved as the half went on and by half time they had scored 2 tries through Geraint Rowlands and Brian Roberts and they led 13 0 at half time. Bala were the better side in the second half and they scored a further 3 tries through Gareth Williams, Ifan Hughes and Euros Jones with Elgan Jones kicking 1 penalty to make the final score 31 0. Bala now play Colwyn Bay on Wednesday 6th of May in their final home game of the season so please come and support the team with the kick off at 7.00pm.
